GM Inah

Hands up, buddy, you’re up for an investigation!

Banning a player, looking for a hacker or a scam culprit takes a lot of energy and patience to execute. But someone has to do the dirty job, and that falls to no other than the lovely resident game master for accounts, GM Inah.

GM Inah has started playing Tantra way before she became the crying shoulder of players who were having trouble with their accounts (or the butt end of a whining player who just got banned). Back in July 2005 when they have opened a computer shop, GM Inah had to learn and try all the online games to be able to attend to their customers who would like to play games. “Of all the games, sa Tantra lang ako na-hook,” she shares.

Known in the community then as sarina023, a vidya, she had then a 2nd maharaja of an all-girl guild in Kriya Femme_Fatales. A little over a year later, the once silent player of Tantra who had claimed to having only a few friends, became known as GM Inah of Tantra.

“Nung naging GM ako, dumami friends ko. I wonder why? =P,” she jokes. “I have encountered a lot of people and I learned who my real friends are and who are plastic. They like me just because I'm a GM. Pero nung player pa lang ako, inaaway nila ko. Nakilala ko rin yung mga taong dapat at hindi dapat pagkatiwalaan.”

GM Inah handles hack and scam cases. “I’m also asisgned on account restoration and log-related cases.” As a GM, she had encountered a lot of unfavorable account problem-related experiences. “Ang pinakaayaw ko lang yung mga nagrereklamo na hindi ko agad masolusyonan,” GM Inah cited as one of her pet peeves as a Tantra authority.

She explained that there are times that a problem needed to be sent to Tantra’s developer Hanbitsoft Korea to get fixed. “May mga bugs na sila lang makakagawa at makakaayos.” She also stressed the fact that some players couldn’t understand that. “We are just the publisher, not the developer.”

And if there is one other thing that GM Inah does not definitely like? “Scammers. Specially during events. They would mimic or copy the name of the event character to scam other players. Out of 100 players, may mga 20 na mabibiktima.”

Well, good thing for those 20 victims that there is a GM Inah to help them out with their problems and bring justice to Tantra’s community.

“Like what I always say, enjoy playing. Play the game, don't let the game play you. We are doing our best to make this game more enjoyable and fair. There's one key to get your problems solved: know the proper way to report and the proper way to follow-up.”
